Hey, everyone has to start SOMEWHERE!
Even the best drummers in the world started just where you are RIGHT NOW! Remember, it's not how hard the solo is, it's how well you play it! Always strive to learn SOMETHING from everything you play, everything you hear. These solos were written with the developing percussionist in mind - lots of the basics and very little fluff.

As you move up into higher levels of difficulty, remember that the basics are still important! Don't go for speed yet - the most important thing is the control that you have over the sticks!
